With two supermarkets, medical centres, banks, post office, bakeries, and a large array of clothing and gift stores close by, it’s perfect for easy parking and saving time. Completely renovated in 2005, Runaway Bay Dental Care has a fresh new look and provides clients with access to all the latest dental treatments in a clean, modern, and professional environment. Our friendly staff members enjoy the relationships which have been formed with the local community since the Practice was established in 1990 and we pride ourselves on the large number of long standing clients who continue to utilise our services. Dr William Dear and Dr Rachel Hanson have a wealth of dental experience and offer our clients top quality, up to date, affordable dentistry. They are joined by Hygienist/Therapist, Margaret Gamble, who is available to treat children and provide all of our clients with oral hygiene treatments.
DR WILLIAM DEAR – RUNAWAY BAY DENTAL CARE Dr William Dear has been living on the Gold Coast most of his life after his parents emigrated from England in the 1980’s. Dr Dear graduated from dentistry at Sydney University in 2004 and immediately returned to the Gold Coast to join Runaway Bay Dental Care. He has become a popular dentist in the area and has a strong following of patients. Dr Dear offers a relaxed atmosphere for his clients whilst also maintaining a high level of professionalism. He enjoys soccer, surfing and classic rock music.
DR NEHAL AYAD - TREEVIEW DENTAL CARE Nehal graduated with Academic Excellence from Griffith University on the Gold Coast and has worked on the Coast ever since. She has a natural flair for all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry and is committed to ensuring all her patients receive the highest quality of care possible. Nehal is a very talented and artistic dentist whose attention to detail is meticulous. She regularly attends lectures and seminars and keeps up to date with new techniques and cutting edge technology. A member of the Australian Dental Association, Dental Study Club of Brisbane, Australian Periodontal Society and the Australian Osseointegration Society, Nehal finds being an active member of these organisations allows her to increase her knowledge and skills in all areas of dentistry. She has also supervised and mentored dental students at Griffith University, and finds it very satisfying to have played a role in the training and education of our future dentists. Nehal understands that most patients feel anxious at the dentist and she takes the time to individualise her approach to each patient, working at their pace and ensuring that every patient is relaxed enough to overcome their dental fears while in her care. When she is not working or attending dental conferences, Nehal can be found rock climbing, at the beach, or tirelessly trying to get better at Zumba.
