With a fresh new team we are looking forward to continuing the exceptional, caring service that has become our standard over the years.
The team at Coastal Dental Care Mudgeeraba look forward to continuing the exceptional service they have become known for over the years. We understand how busy life can be, that is why we are open 6 days a week as well as extended trading hours until 7pm Monday to Thursday.
Our treatments include:
Dr Alison Downes (Ali) graduated from Griffith University with Academic excellence, and has been practicing as a dentist on the Gold Coast ever since.
Formerly from a small NSW country town herself, she loves practicing in the small and relaxed town of Mudgeeraba.
Ali has worked in the areas of rural and remote dentistry and public health, but is now practicing privately for Coastal Dental Care Mudgeeraba.
Ali’s other passion, aside from dentistry, is travelling. From a young age Ali has been fortunate enough to explore many other countries and cultures which have been both eye opening, and at times, humbling experiences.
In her recreational time, Ali enjoys spending time on one of the many Gold Coast beaches, hiking and bike riding.
She offers our clients top quality treatment covering all aspects of dentistry. This includes oral hygiene appointments, tooth coloured fillings, crown and bridge work, cosmetic dentistry and teeth whitening.
Dr Jacki Obst graduated from the University of Queensland with honours in 1999. Since then she has worked at several practices on the Gold Coast, including an early stint with Coastal Dental Care at our Treeview practice (formerly known as Christine Corner Dental). These experiences have provided her with a broad range of knowledge and a sound understanding of the dental needs and wants of the Gold Coast community. Since starting her career, Jacki has dedicated herself to becoming an exemplary clinician.
Jacki has an interest in all aspects of general and cosmetic dental treatment but is particularly focused on gaining an understanding in to what underlying factors may be contributing to her patients dental concerns. Her aim is to not only treat her patients’ teeth today, but to provide complete and comprehensive treatment planning to ensure their teeth for life.
Being a local to the area for over 10 years, Jacki can be found spending time with her young family and beautiful dogs around the parks and walking tracks of Mudgeeraba. She also loves to play netball and snowboarding.
Dr Peta O’Keeffe completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland in 2003. She graduated at the top of her class with First Class Honours and was the recipient of a number of prestigious awards including The University Medal and The Pierre Fauchard Academy Award.
Peta grew up on the Gold Coast and has now settled here with her family. She has previously worked in private practices in Ashmore and Runaway Bay and has a loyal following of patients. She is now enjoying practicing part time in Mudgeeraba.
Peta enjoys all aspects of cosmetic, family and general dentistry with an emphasis on preventive and conservative dentistry. She has a kind and gentle nature and is particularly dedicated to helping anxious and uncomfortable patients develop their confidence in dental treatment.
Peta and her husband have three beautiful young children who are her focus when she is away from the practice.
