Dr Claire Lucena is a dentist with special interest in family dentistry and working with anxious patients.

Claire grew up in northern NSW, studied in Victoria and has now joined the Coastal Dental Care team. She enjoys being able to care for her patients whilst also being close to her family.

Dr Claire Lucena studied at LaTrobe University in Bendigo, receiving her Bachelor degree of Health Science in Dentistry and her Masters of Dentistry. She previously worked in rural dental hospitals in Victoria.

Claire’s favourite part of working in dentistry includes connecting with people and helping patients achieve happy healthy smiles. Her friendly and calm nature helps her treat children and anxious patients.

When she is not working, Claire enjoys great food, coffee and cocktails along with painting, baking and movies.
