Dr Norah Ayad – Burleigh Waters

 

Dr Norah Ayad graduated dentistry at the University of Queensland with awards in Paeditaric dentistry.Dr Norah Ayad graduated dentistry at the University of Queensland with awards in Paeditaric dentistry. She is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and serves as Queensland section Chair.

Norah is a recipient of the ADAQ Service medallion for her work with the Queensland branch of the Australian Dental Association and was President of the Queensland Branch in 2020. She currently serves as an ADA Federal Councillor. Norah works in private practice on the Gold Coast where she operates as a general dentist and practice co-owner. She has served on several state and federal committees for the Australian Dental Association and currently chairs the ADAQ Policy and Advocacy Committee.

Norah is a passionate advocate for oral health promotion in the community, supporting young dental professionals in their careers and engaging with a range of health professionals to ensure best possible patient care. She volunteers as a dentist providing dental care to disadvantaged populations with a number of organisations including Tzu Chi, ADHF and the ADAQ Clinic.
