Teeth Whitening
At Coastal Dental Care, we offer Philips Zoom! in-chair whitening. This safe and effective formula has been proven to achieve outstanding results for patients all over the world. The LED light technology is clinically proven to whiten teeth up to eight shades in just one 60-minute visit.
What is the treatment process?
Prior to whitening, your dentist will take some moulds of your teeth to fabricate some trays for you as part of your take home kit. Your dentist will then place a few things in your mouth to carefully protect your gums, lips and cheeks.
The whitening works through a hydrogen peroxide gel which breaks down the stains on your teeth; a process accelerated by the Philips Zoom! WhiteSpeed Whitening LED Accelerator light. Through this process of 3-4 15 minute cycles, your teeth will be visibly whiter (up to 8 shades) within a single day.
Veneers
Porcelain veneers are a wafer thin, tooth shaped cover that is bonded to the front of your teeth. They can almost instantly improve the shape, colour and overall appearance of a smile.
Veneers are suitable for patients who have chipped, crooked or discoloured teeth. With good oral hygiene routines and regular dental visits, your porcelain veneers can last around 15 years.
What is the treatment process?
To make room for your veneers, the fronts and sides of your teeth will be filed down. From here, impressions will be made and sent off to our lab for fabrication. While your veneers are being made, you will receive a temporary set of veneers. Once your new porcelain veneers are ready, they will be bonded to the teeth.
Facial Injections
